IT'S THE ANTHROPOLOGY FINAL EXAM AND SHIRLEY GOES INTO LABOR - MALCOLM JAMAL WARNER GUEST STARS -
When the Anthropology class assembles for their final exam, Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) notices a twinge, which quickly escalates into full-blown labor. As Jeff (Joel Mchale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) argue about how best to help, Chang (Ken Jeong) is anxious to claim this "early" labor as clear evidence that it's a "Chang Baby!" Meanwhile, Greendale is hosting a World Food Festival in the parking lot and a riot ensues - Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) is caught in the crossfire. Chevy Chase, Alison Brie, Donald Glover and Danny Pudi also star.

I'm glad it wasn't Chang's baby.

I thought this episode handled the drama of the birth very well. Chang was the most likable he's been all year, Shirley was nice and reasonable, and Britta and Jeff were great.

There were some laughs, but a fraction of a fraction of the amount that were in Paradigms. But the excellently handled character and plot development more than make up for that.

The freeze frame of the Dean at the end had me rolling. I'm also happy that the baby wasn't Chang's.

Hi y'all! I'm new to the forums.

I was glad the baby was Andre's. It wasn't a high-concept episode but when everything is said and done, it was a solid one that was needed before we get to Paintball part deux.
