On January 20, NBC will be shuffling its Thursday schedule to add some midseason shows.
Good news: Parks and Recreation is back!
Bad news: Now I'll have to find something to do for an hour after 8:30.

I don't know if this schedule is NBC showing confidence in Community or not. Hopefully Perfect Couples and Outsourced will die quickly in the new schedule and NBC will keep the other 4 for next year. Though I guess I should watch an episode of Perfect Couples before wishing death upon it.

It's hard to say what NBC is feeling about Community. One one hand, they aren't being proactive about helping it by trying to give it a better slot than the beginner, which I think could be better served by a more established show. But by not moving it, they could also be showing satisfaction at its low but steady ratings in a tough slot.
All I know is that we now have a two and a half hour comedy block that includes The Office, 30 Rock, and most importantly Community and Parks.
